BMW X6 M Competition and BMW X6 M impress with an extremely powerful and specific design language. Starting from the X6 M specific front with prominent sharknose, via the curved coupé silhouette, through to the athletic shoulder line and rear section, the exterior testifies to high performance and self-assuredness. Interacting with distinctive M light alloy wheels, the two powerful M Automobiles with X genes leave no doubt as to the potential they contain.
The time it takes the BMW X6 M Competition to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h.
The engine of the BMW X6 M Competition
Inherently superior: The high-performance M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 4.4 litres and 460 kW (625 hp) is the most powerful of all engines in BMW standard production vehicles. Equipped with two twin scroll turbochargers, high-pressure injection and Valvetronic, the high-performance power unit inside the BMW X6 M Competition impresses both on the road and on the racetrack: 750 Nm of torque, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 13.2 seconds.
Featuring the Active M differential, the M specific suspension exquisitely highlights the vehicle's dynamic potential. In addition to the three driving modes COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT+, you can also choose between three different Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) settings in order to adapt the level of stabilising support to suit your preferred style of driving.
Thanks to the use of various materials, M Compound brakes achieve outstanding deceleration values and are extremely stable and highly durable. They also weigh less, which has a positive impact on agility, dynamics and acceleration. The blue metallic brake callipers (optional: Red or Black) with the M designation are the hallmark of these high-performance M specific brakes.
BMW M xDrive with Active M differential guarantees maximum traction and driving dynamics for everyday driving, as well as at the racetrack. The M specific technology combines the typical agility of a rear-wheel drive with the control of an all-wheel drive. You can choose between the two drive variants 4WD and 4WD Sport.
The 8-speed M Steptronic sport transmission with Drivelogic offers numerous shifting options: from extremely dynamic to particularly comfortable, and smooth to fuel-saving. You can shift manually using the gear lever or the gearshift paddles on the steering wheel, or put the vehicle into automatic mode and let the transmission do the work.
The integrated braking system is characterised by a sporty brake pedal feeling and particularly fast control interventions. It combines the functions of brake actuation, brake force amplification and the brake control system (DSC) in a compact and weight-optimised brake module. The integrated braking system achieves extremely short stopping distances.

Official data on power consumption and electric range were determined in accordance with the mandatory measurement procedure and comply with Regulation (EU) 715/2007 valid at the time of type approval. In case of a range, figures in the NEDC take into account differences in the selected wheel and tire size; figures in the WLTP take into account any optional equipment. WLTP values are used for assessing taxes and other vehicle-related charges that are (also) based on CO2 emissions, as well as for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies, if applicable. Where applicable, the NEDC values listed were calculated based on the new WLTP measurement procedure and then converted back to the NEDC measurement procedure for comparability reasons. For newly type-tested vehicles since 01.01.2021, the official data no longer exist according to NEDC, but only according to WLTP. For more information on the WLTP and NEDC measurement procedures, see https://www.bmw.com/wltp.
For further information about the official fuel consumption and the specific CO2 emission of new passenger cars can be taken out of the „handbook of fuel consumption, the CO2 emission and power consumption of new passenger cars“, which is available at all selling points and at https://www.dat.de/co2/.
