Pretty soon drivers are going to be warming up their tyres, closing their visors and preparing for full racing commitment in the cause of safety: On 28th March 2021, the MotoGP™ starts the new season with the Grand Prix of Qatar in Losail. Since 1999, BMW M has been the "Official Car of MotoGP" and is providing a fleet of vehicles for safety deployment. This year, for the first time four new vehicles will be burning up the asphalt: three safety cars and a safety bike. In Qatar, the BMW M3, the BMW M4 and the BMW M5 CS safety cars are making their debuts. And then there’s the new BMW M 1000 RR safety bike. The BMW M 1000 RR is the first M model from BMW Motorbikes and will be seen in a racing version in the Superbike World Championship.
