HIGHEST PERFORMANCE, PERFECT LOOKS.

Based on the BMW M2 Coupé, the BMW M Performance Parts Concept achieves an enormous weight reduction of 60 kilograms, along with improved aerodynamics and many visual highlights. The exterior BMW Individual Special Paint Frozen Black metallic, with M Performance wrapping in gold for accentuations and inscriptions, emphasises the car’s sporty character. The complete wheel set, with 19-inch M Performance forged wheel Y-spoke 763M in Frozen Gold, gives the concept a sublime finishing touch.

    M Performance carbon front radiator grille

    No doubt about it: the M Performance Carbon front radiator grille is a visual highlight that gives the car its particularly elegant, sporty and individual look. Featuring an accentuating gold line, it is expected to be available for the new BMW M2 Competition from July 2018.

    M Performance carbon bonnet

    The M Performance Carbon bonnet (also expected
    to be available from July 2018), saves eight kilograms in weight compared to the standard component. The Concept shows an exclusive gold accentuation in addition.

    The M Performance carbon fibre roof

    The M Performance carbon fibre roof in clear carbon-fibre finish not only reduces the car's weight by another six kilograms, it also shifts the centre of gravity further towards the road to enable higher cornering speeds. It is expected to be available for the BMW M2 Competition from March 2019.

  • 19-inch M Performance wheels
    19-inch M Performance forged wheel Y-spoke 763M in Frozen Gold

    The complete wheel set, with 19-inch M Performance forged wheel Y-spoke 763M in Frozen Gold (expected to be available from August 2018), with semi-slicks not only provides a visual highlight, it is also six kilograms lighter than standard wheels. This reduces unsprung masses as well as having the relevant positive effect on driving dynamics and steering response.

    M Performance carbon fibre rear diffuser

    The M Performance carbon fibre rear diffuser reduces
    the car's weight by 0.5 kilograms. Available now, it optimises the car’s aerodynamics and continues the gold accenting that runs across the concept car's body.

    M Performance carbon fibre tailgate

    An eye-catching rear is provided by the M Performance carbon fibre tailgate (expected to be available from November 2018). It weighs five kilograms less than the standard part.

GIVES YOU WINGS.

The high-quality, individual look of the exterior is continued with the M Performance carbon fibre front winglets and the carbon fibre side sill winglets, both of which have exclusive gold accenting. The aerodynamic package is completed by the M Performance carbon fibre front side panels which also reduce the vehicle's weight by three kilograms.

TAILOR-MADE M PERFORMANCE SPORTS SEATS.

The entire seating arrangement of the BMW M Performance Parts Concept also deserves special attention: the M Performance carbon fibre sport seats with golden contrast seam ensure an excellent grip, even when driving in highly dynamic style. They are covered with Alcantara, have a folding function for easy access to the rear and are nine kilograms lighter than the standard sports seats. The individual M Performance lightweight rear seats, also covered with Alcantara, reduce the weight of the vehicle by a further 13 kilograms.

When it makes its world premiere at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018 (12 to 15 July), the BMW M Performance Parts Concept will be in good company. BMW is once again the official sponsor of the 25th edition of this legendary event, held in the impressive grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex, in the south of England. As always, the Goodwood Hillclimb race course, on sees classic as well as modern racing cars duel it out for supremacy, will be the focus of this year's festival, which has the motto ‘Festival of Speed - The Silver Jubilee’.
