The 2026 season BMW M Motorsport works driver line-up is complete. The latest and youngest member to join the BMW M Motorsport family is German talent Tim Tramnitz. This means that the BMW M works driver line-up for the coming season includes 23 top-class drivers from eleven nations. The second new addition alongside Tramnitz is South African Jordan Pepper.
At 21 years old, Tim Tramnitz succeeds Ugo de Wilde as the youngest BMW M works driver. The German competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship over the past two seasons and finished fourth overall in 2025. In 2021, he was runner-up in both the German and Italian Formula 4 Championships. Between 2011 and 2019, he was active in karting and celebrated numerous title wins. In January, Tramnitz impressed during a junior driver evaluation at the wheel of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO and will contest selected races in 2026.
The new addition announced in December 2025, Jordan Pepper, made a perfect debut by winning the 24 Hours of Dubai and will also compete for Team WRT at the Bathurst 12 Hour next weekend. Jesse Krohn and Madison Snow will no longer be part of the BMW M Motorsport line-up in 2026.
We are very pleased to have Tim Tramnitz, one of the greatest German young talents, in our ranks. In general, we once again have a very strong works driver squad in 2026, with an excellent mix of youth and experience. We are well prepared for the extensive race programme ahead of us with the BMW M Hybrid V8 and the BMW M4 GT3 EVO.
I am super happy to now be part of the BMW M Motorsport family and look forward to the challenge. For me, this is a big step, as I have dreamed of becoming a works driver for a major manufacturer since my time in karting. I would like to thank everyone involved for their trust.
