For the first time, the legendary 24 Hours of Nürburgring will be part of the racing series Intercontinental GT Challenge. It is one of the four classic races that make up the season. The season kicks off in February in Bathurst, Australia. Another highlight of the season is the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. The Indianapolis 8 Hour, which BMW M Team WRT won in 2023, forms the finale. There is a drivers' and a manufacturers' classification in the IGTC. Therefore, no team has to contest all races of the season.
