A forward-facing shark nose and the light signature with a depth effect characterise the front end, with the headlights and kidney grille forming a single unit. The new M Yellow Lights create a focused view of the road, while the front apron of the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse, with its trimaran-style bumper, evokes the shape of high-speed sailing boats. A motorsport-inspired front splitter and the distinctive air outlet on the V-shaped bonnet further ensure precise air routing. A new, M specific lighting accent are the three-dimensional Track Lights in the outer sections of the front apron.

Powerful proportions, precise lines and a muscular shoulder section with wide wheel arches underline the unmistakable BMW M character. Numerous M specific design features optimise aerodynamics – including the reinterpreted M aero exterior mirrors featuring the brand’s colours as a design detail.

Track Lights and trimaran styling also characterise the rear apron of the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse. While the four Track Lights frame the trimaran element above the floating diffuser, a striking ducktail spoiler improves aerodynamics. It increases downforce on the rear axle while simultaneously adding a striking accent to the clean surface design of the rear end.

Natural fibre elements are used in the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse – for example in the front splitter, the bonnet air outlet and in the diffuser. The natural fibre is not only used in its pure form, but also, for the first time, in a refined form with M branding in the roof graphic.

Four newly developed bucket seats provide secure support even in highly dynamic driving situations and integrate structural elements made from natural fibre materials. The seat upholstery in Bathurst Blue and Berry Red echo the BMW M colours in a two-tone Merino leather finish. Red five-point belts emphasise the sporty character.

The interior of the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse is reduced and consistently geared towards the driving experience. High-quality black nubuck leather is used on the steering wheel, the door panels and the roll bar. The floating dashboard features a black knit finish and is backlit with an M specific hexagonal light pattern. Red accents on the M gear selector, the shift paddles on the M steering wheel and in the digital displays are sporty highlights that put the performance centre stage.
Even in the new all-electric era, we continue the M typical tradition of transferring both technological innovations and defining design features directly from motorsport into series production.
M DRIVING EXPERIENCE OF A NEW DIMENSION.
The innovative BMW eDrive drive concept, featuring four electric motors and BMW M Dynamic Performance Control, elevates the driving experience and racetrack capability to a new level. The drive system is based on the Gen6 technology of the Neue Klasse and was developed specifically for all-electric BMW M vehicles.
The four electric motors are combined with the central control software, BMW M Dynamic Performance Control, in the high-performance ‘Heart of Joy’ computer. The wheel-specific control of the drivetrain and braking systems opens up new potential for driving dynamics and driving safety, high recuperation performance, optimum traction right up to the limit, and particularly direct response characteristics.
HIGH-VOLTAGE BATTERY FOR OUTSTANDING POWER.
The 800-volt technology and the high-voltage battery with an energy content of more than 100 kWh create the conditions for long-range capability. An M specific optimised version of the Gen6 cylindrical cells offers particularly high output when delivering energy to the electric motors and during charging. The high-voltage battery housing is firmly integrated with both the front and rear axle as a structural component, thereby contributing further to driving dynamics.
