The passion of BMW M for high-performance can now be experienced in fragrances. The BMW M Fragrance Collection comprises three fragrances that reflect the high-performance theme of the BMW M brand. Each fragrance is designed to convey values such as performance, innovation and precision. The Eau de Toilettes were developed by world-renowned perfumers Frank Voelkl and Alexandra Monet, who placed great emphasis on creating a unique olfactory experience.

The Eau de Toilette 1972 is inspired by the legendary BMW 3.0 CSL and its dominance in motor racing. The fragrance is characterised by an aromatic explosion of freshness that captures the spirit of impressive high performance and sustainable innovation, crafted for the bold. Assertive and energetic, it opens with a vibrant blend of citrus and ginger, softened with delicate, fleeting notes, and ends with a warm, woody amber trail of vetiver that reinforces its confident character. The bottle is distinguished by a bright light blue colour, representing the first stripe of the M logo.

The 1985 is inspired by the iconic BMW M3 E30, which, as a homologation model for motorsport in the mid-1980s, shaped a new generation of extremely agile sports cars for the road and the racetrack. The fragrance has elegant fruity top notes. A woody amber base provides a distinctive contrast. The blue colour of the bottle matches the second stripe in the BMW M logo.
