22 June 2025

Kelvin van der Linde (RSA), Augusto Farfus (BRA), Jesse Krohn (FIN), and Raffaele Marciello (SUI) celebrate their victory.

What a race weekend, what a comeback: due to scheduling conflicts, the BMW M4 GT3 EVO from ROWE Racing was the only BMW M Motorsport vehicle in the top SP9 class at this year’s 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. On top of it, qualifying didn't go as smoothly as desired, with the team starting Saturday's race from 17th place. But none of that was an obstacle for the BMW M works driver quartet: after 24 hours, the BMW M flag was flying alongside the black and white chequered flag at the finish line. ROWE Racing secured BMW’s 21st overall victory on the Nordschleife in front of a record crowd of 280,000 spectators.

What an incredible 24-hour race! Although we only competed with one car, we had a fantastic team and amazing drivers.

I had the privilege of driving the formation lap and seeing all these fans. This place is magical. I celebrated my first major victory for BMW M Motorsport here 15 years ago, and to stand here again is something special.

It marked a perfect final endurance test before the sales phase begins for the new BMW M Motorsport entry-level race car.
