HOW TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR M SETUP.

STEP BY STEP.

M Setup

The M Setup menu is part of the M specific operating system of OS 8. It enables direct access to various different setting options. The standard setting after starting the M automobile’s engine is one based on efficiency.

M Setup

That can be changed by just pressing the Setup button in the central console: The M Setup menu is opened in the central Infotainment display.

M Setup

Now the desired mode for up to six different parameters can be selected in a single step via touch or by using the iDrive Controller.

M Setup

The driver can adjust the Engine modes of the M Engine Dynamics Control, the suspension settings of the Adaptive M Suspension, the Servotronic Steering programmes, the Brake options of the integrated braking system and, depending on the BMW M model, optionally the M xDrive all-wheel system and the M Traction Control.

M Setup

Altered settings in the M Setup menu are automatically reset when the engine is switched off and the driver has left and locked the vehicle. The next time the ignition is activated, the standard, efficiency-based setting is active again.

M Setup

Individual settings can be stored via the M1 and M2 keys on the steering wheel.
